Xavier T. Kea

Xavier Trevon “Zay” Kea, 29, unexpectedly passed away on August 31, 2025. Xavier was born December 18, 1995 to Natasha Diggs Kea and Danyel F. Kea. He was the older of their 2 children.

Xavier began his education in the Isle of Wight County Schools; but graduated from Hampton High School in 2014. Over the course of years he worked in local warehouse distributions, with most recently employment at FreezePak in Suffolk Va.

Xavier loved being around family and friends. Growing up he loved playing Rugby, which won a few championships. When he got older, he was introduced to fishing and that became his favorite hobby, He gained many friends in the fishing community. He also had a passion for raising and training exotic dogs (bullies & frenchies).

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Frances & Randolph Kea; and several other relatives.

Xavier is survived by his parents: Natasha Kea and Danyel Kea; His brother Cameran Kea; Grandmother Thelma Diggs; Grandfather Michael Williams; Grandfather Eddie Hill Jr (Maxine); Four Aunts: Risha Davis(Ronny); Frances Robinson(Johnny); Darlene Robertson; and Yolanda Brown. Four Uncles: Brian Diggs (Tiffany); Tarvarus Kea; Darcell Kea; and Monteria Clemons; A host of great aunts and uncles; cousins and friends.

On Friday, September 5, 2025, viewing will take place from 3-6pm at Shivers Funeral Chapel. At 2pm on Saturday, September 6, 2025, a Celebration of Life will be held at New Bethany U.C.C. Interment will follow the service in New Bethany U.C.C. Cemetery Please keep the Kea family in your thoughts and prayers.
