William A. Robinson, 79, peacefully transitioned from this life on March 19, 2026. He was born on December 30, 1946, to the late Horace and Edith Robinson.
William proudly served his country in the United States Army, demonstrating honor, discipline, and dedication. After his military service, he was employed with Massimo Zanetti (Lipton Tea) for over 20 years, where he was known for his strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment until his retirement.
William loved his family and valued the time spent creating lasting memories with those he cherished most.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Horace and Edith Robinson, and his beloved son, William “Beaver” Pierce.
William leaves to cherish his memory a loving and devoted wife of 22 years, Lillian C. Robinson; his children Adrian Robinson (April), Toney Pierce (Stephanie), George Clarey, Jr. (Gloria), Earle A. Goodwin Jr., Tracey P. Dungee (Steve), Erica L. Lee, Rachelle Pierce, Rashawn Pierce, Jamie Jackson (Nelson), Latia Harper (Elijah) and Taquana Pierce.
He also leaves to cherish his memory his devoted sister Jonie Ann Davis; bonus children Artis Perry (James) and Coretha Clark (Darnell); his cherished grandchildren Laura T. Clarey, Mia M. Clarey, Elijah X. Clarey, Jeremiah Pierce, Jerry Pierce, Harmony Harper, Carmen Harper, Kobe Pierce, Zarriah Pierce, Nigel Jackson, Ivy Jackson, Anthony Banks and Antwan Banks; his precious great‑grandchildren Amani Clarey and Wayne Cary along with a host of loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, dear friends, and the lovingly acknowledged Hall Family.
William’s presence, love, and life lessons will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

On Wednesday, March 25, 2026, viewing will take place from 3-6 pm at Shivers Funeral Chapel. At 11 am on Thursday, March 26, 2026. A Celebration of Life will be held at Campbell's Chapel A.M.E. Church. Please keep the Robinson family in your thoughts and prayers.
