The Life and Legacy of Tre’Von K. Wiggins

Tre’Von K. Wiggins of Suffolk, Va. entered eternal rest on Sunday, November 14, 2021, in Portsmouth, Va. He was 27 years old. He was born on March 16, 1994, in Suffolk, Va. He attended Suffolk Public Schools and graduated from Kings Fork High School in 2012. While he was at Kings Fork High School, he was an avid member of the basketball team and excelled well at that sport. He later pursued and landed his career at the Newport News Shipyard, otherwise known as Huntington Ingalls, as a Rigger.

Tre’Von was loved as a son, father, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew, and loyal friend. During his earlier childhood years, he attended New Community Christian Center Church, of Suffolk, Va. with his family, under the Pastoral ship of Pastor Anthony VanDyke. While there, he was a member of the children’s choir and participated in various youth activities.

Outside of his love of basketball, Tre’Von enjoyed hanging out with his friends, spending time with his dog, and family- especially with his beautiful daughters. He was recently predeceased by his Maternal Grandmother, Deaconess Brenda B. Ward, and his Uncle Evans D. Wiggins. He also leaves to cherish his legacy: his parents Valerie Wiggins of Suffolk and Drexter Randall of Windsor, Zoe Fanning; the mother of his 2-month-old daughter; Remi Wiggins and Kourtney Wiggins, his 6-year-old daughter; his sister Akia Donaldson of Suffolk and 4 brothers-Donta Batten (Brittany Jones) of Carrollton, Carlos Batten (Felicia) of Newport News Virginia, Aaron Randall, and Jordan Randall, paternal grandparents: Betty Randall and Bobby Holloman, host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held 11am Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Main Street Baptist Church Mission Center BY INVITATION ONLY. Limited attendance will be strictly adhered to and required. Please keep the Wiggins Family in your thoughts and prayers.
