Tawshewai Saulina Brumskin transitioned from this life on Friday, May 28, 2021 at her residence. Tawshewai Saulina Brumskin 49, was born on May 15, 1972, to Mary L. Brumskin Fields and Earl M. Addison. She departed this life on May 28, 2021. Tawshewai attended schools in Somerset County, Maryland and graduated in Wicomico County, Maryland. She was a member of Brown’s AME Church in Smithfield, VA. Tawshewai was with her special friend Michael Piker for 14 years. She leaves to cherish her memories, two children; Craig M. Brumskin of Salisbury, Maryland and Brittany Brumskin of Hopewell, VA, three siblings; Andra L. (Sheri) Newport News, VA, Mamie V. Brumskin of Smithfield, VA, and Nelson R. (Antoinette) Fields, Jr., her mother Mary L. Brumskin Fields, her stepfather Nelson Fields, Sr., her father Earl M. Addison, two grandchildren; Zaid and Taliq Dobbs. She also leaves a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11am Saturday, June 05, 2021 at Shivers Funeral Chapel BY INVITATION ONLY. Limited attendance will be strictly adhered to and required. Public viewing will take place one hour prior to the Service at the Chapel.
