Tamara Alicia Littlejohn, 44, transitioned to eternal rest on Friday, January 22, 2016. She was born October 29, 1971 in Suffolk, Virginia to Burnadette Owens and Larry Littlejohn (preceded by death). Tamara graduated from Smithfield High School in 1989 and attended Virginia State University. Prior to her relocation in Appomattox, Virginia in May 2015, she was a partner of Victory Christian Church in Gaithersburg, Maryland under the leadership of Pastor Dwayne Brewington, where she served faithfully on the Hospitality Ministry. She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter, Ashley Littlejohn of Gaithersburg, MD; soon to be son-in-law Brandon Hall of Upper Marlboro, MD; mother and step-father, Quintin and Burnadette Owens of Carrollton, VA; four sisters, Dawn Littlejohn Smith of Raleigh, NC, Leslie Littlejohn of Chattanooga, TN, Shawn Littlejohn of Chicago, IL, Kristin Littlejohn of Columbia, TN and one brother Jason Littlejohn of Bradenton, FL; sister-in-law JoAnna Littlejohn of Bradenton, FL; brother-in-law Randolph Smith of Raleigh, NC; 3 nieces, Amber Geer Jones of Chula Vista, CA; Maya Littlejohn of Bradenton, FL; Emma Littlejohn of Bradenton, FL and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. The Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2016at 12 noon at Shivers Funeral Chapel in Smithfield, VA.
