Stephanie Langhorne Swan transitioned from this life on Friday, August 15, 2025, at Sentara Norfolk General.

Mrs. Stephanie Langhorne Swan was born in Suffolk, Virginia on March 19, 1967, to the late Pernell Langhorne, Sr. and Arlene Langhorne.

Stephanie graduated from Surry County High School in 1985. She was united in marriage to the late Louis Parks Swan. She was preceded in death by her son Troy Johnson, Jr.

Our beloved Stephanie, mother, sister, niece, aunt, cousin, and friend, was a passionate woman with such a lovely spirit who loved spending time with her grandchildren and family. One of her pass times was listening to music.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory to her son Andre Langhorne; one stepdaughter Crystal Jones Gyingyi (G. Kofi); one stepson Maurice Arrington of Hampton, Virginia; two grandsons Janeek Davis and Khari Langhorne; one granddaughter Daniya Butts; two step grandchildren Madison Brown and Samuel Gyingyi; three sisters Brenda Stone, Cynthia Lankford and Shelia Holmes (Paul); one brother Pernell Langhorne, Jr., (Scherrell); one god sister Angela Anderson and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

On Thursday, August 21, 2025, viewing will take place from 3-6pm at Shivers Funeral Chapel. At 1pm on Friday, August 22, 2025, a Celebration of Life service will also be held at the Chapel. Please keep the Langhorne-Swan family in your thoughts and prayers.
