Sheridan Bernard Wrenn Sr.

Sheridan B. Wrenn Sr. was born August 11, 1940 to the late Wesley and Vivian Wrenn. On March 18, 2017 he transitioned into eternal rest at his home. A native of Smithfield, VA, Bernard is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 55 years, Vernell H. Wrenn. Ten children treasure his memory; Tami Drew (Samuel), Yolanda Wrenn, Sheridan Wrenn Jr. (Jacqueline), Djuan Wrenn Sr. (Jacqueline), Crystal Wrenn (Lester), Chris Wrenn (Jameka), Chad Wrenn, Jennifer Wrenn, Jason Wrenn (Keisha), and Courtney Wrenn. He also leaves to cherish his memory three siblings; two sisters, Edna Holloway and Marion Wrenn, and one brother, Robert C. Wrenn (Myrteen). Nineteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren mourn his loss. He is also survived by one dear aunt, Mable Wrenn.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 12:00pm Friday, March 24, 2017 at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 11150 Emmanuel Church Rd. Smithfield, Va. Viewing will be held from 4-7pm Thursday, March 23, 2017 at Shivers Funeral Chapel and one hour prior to the service at the church.
