Sheila Hill Howard

Mrs. Sheila N. Howard, born to the late Gilbert Z. Hill and the late Dorothy (Mullin) Hill on September 6, 1950, transitioned from this life on Monday, January 2, 2023 at Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center.

Sheila was preceded in death by her husband of 45+ years, William J. Howard, Jr. and leaves to honor her memory: two daughters, Sheila Hill of Baltimore, MD and Tia Lunsford (Thomas) of Richmond, VA, one son Rafael Hill (Rosaura) of Killeen, TX, grandchildren, Shelinska "Shelly" Hill, Raphael “Lito” Hill, Jr., Shaniah Hill (all from Killeen, TX), Lauren Barnard (Phoenix, AZ), Thomas “T2” Lunsford, II, and Taryn Lunsford (both from Richmond, VA), and a host of other relatives and friends.

 A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00am on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Shivers Funeral Chapel. Viewing will take place two hours prior to the service on Saturday.
