Shamare M. Cypress

September 13, 2004 — September 5, 2021

On September 05, 2021, Our Heavenly Father opened up his pearly gates and allowed the soul of our beloved daughter and sister, Shamare’ Mariah Cypress, to enter into Heaven. She accepted Chris as her Lord and Savior on September 23, 2018. Shamare’, A.K.A. “Mare” was born September 13, 2004 in Suffolk, Va. to Shalisa Y. Simpson and Shelton A. Cypress Sr. She leaves to cherish her smile, enthusiasm, and great sense of humor her Mother, Father, Big Sis Shayla Cypress, Brother Shelton A. Cypress Jr., Brother Curtis Watts Jr., and LiL Sis Shaniyah Wright who is also heartbroken by the loss of our girl, Mare, best friends Demi Taylor and Emily Mendoza, and boyfriend Bernard Smith. Unfortunately, Our Father called Shamare’ home at a young age but she was living her best life! Being born in Suffolk, Va., then migrating to Williamsburg, Va. where she started pre-school at the age of 4. Shamare’ then took to the road with her family and moved to the great state of Texas. Shamare’ lived there for 4 years and took to the road again to get a little closer to home, in Georgia. Guess it’s safe to say her parents didn’t mind packing up and moving and every time Mare’ would be right there helping. In 2017, at the age of 13, her intrinsic mind and strong will started to show. Shamare’ played Rec basketball, started JROTC (Drill Team), and worked at BounceU-- but her favorite was babysitting. OMG! Shamare’ loved watching kids and babysitting which scared her father because all he could think about was grandkids, but babysitting was her thing. She was so good at it! At one point in time, Shamare was babysitting a 2year old, 4year old, and an 8year old all while going to school online. On top of coming home and having to do chores which she was also great at doing. Her drive and ambition was strong and there was nothing she couldn’t do if she put her mind to it. Her last job held before her passing was with Goodwill in Hiram, Ga. She was in her senior year at East Paulding High School tracking to graduate early with all A’s and B’s. Shamare’ we will miss you deeply! A Graveside Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00am on Monday, September 13, 2021 at Mt. Sinai Church Cemetery. Viewing will take place from 2-4pm on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at the chapel. Please keep the Cypress family in your thoughts and prayers. View Memorial Tribute
