The Life of Richard A. Warren
Richard Antonio Warren, 59, passed away peacefully at his residence on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 surrounded by his loved ones.
Richard was born on October 28, 1964 to the late Jessie L. Warren and Betty Ricks Warren who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his brother Roy L. Warren.
Richard worked at R. M. Felts Packing Company for over thirty-eight years. One thing that brings us consolation at such a time as this is that Richard accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior a couple of months ago.
He is survived by two brothers his twin Reginald Anthony Warren (Ivor, Virginia) and Bobby L. Warren (Smithfield, Virginia); three sisters Mrs. Thelma L. Wallace (Smithfield, Virginia), Mae F. Warren and Mrs. Marion E. Brock (Rodney) both of Ivor, Virginia; one sister-in-law Mrs. Gracie Warren (Arlington, Virginia); four nephews Eric “Ricky” Warren, Donald O. Brock, Randy L. Brock, Sr., and Bobby “BJ” Gray; three nieces TaRhonda McLead, Zandra Turner and Lawanda Rogers; great nieces and nephews; two uncles Oliver M. Warren (Mary) and Rev. Johnny Warren (Irene); two aunts Catherine Harris (late Joseph) and Beatrice Whitney (late Clyde); and a host of cousins and a special close family friend James “Sonny Boy” Faltz.
On Thursday, September 19, 2024, viewing will take place from 3-6pm at Shivers Funeral Chapel. At 11am on Friday, September 20, 2024, a Celebration of Life Service will be held at Shivers Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at the Beulah Land Cemetery.
