Rebbie M. Artis

On Tuesday, March 20, 2018 our hearts were made low by the passing of Rebbie M. Artis of Hiram Davis Medical Center Petersburg, Va. Rebbie was born to the late Lonnie T. Artis and Clarine Lewter Artis on August 11, 1952. She was baptized at the age of 12 and joined Antioch Christian Church and later joined Faith Temple Church. She leaves to cherish her memory 2 sisters; Shirley M. Artis Jordan (James) and Rev. Bertha L. Artis Kornagay , 3 brothers; Bishop Dr. Vernon L. Artis, John T. Artis and Lonnie E. Artis. 1 nephew; Darryl Britt, 8 neices; Michelle A. Artis (Franze), Julia C. Artis and Kertesha R. Artis, 5 great nephews; Samard Artis, Jeffery Artis Gray, (Lil Dee), Teshon Artis and Tremont Artis, 4 great neices; Techelle Artis, Resheeda Artis, Rashonda Artis and Kia Britt, 7 great-great nephews, 2 great-great nieces and a host of relatives and friends. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 12:00pm Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at Shivers Funeral Chapel Smithfield , Va. Viewing will be held on Monday, March 26, 2018 from 4-7pm at the chapel. Interment will be in the Carver Memorial cemetery Suffolk, Va. Professional services are entrusted to Shivers Funeral Chapel.
