Quandrell D. Williams

March 10, 1984 — October 25, 2023

On October 25, 2023, the lives of many were changed forever when our beloved, Quandrell Damone Williams, transitioned this earthly life. His time with us was brief but he made an impact that will last forever.

Quandrell, more affectionately known as, “Q.B.”, loved his family and we could always count on him to get the party started and make us laugh with one of his witty jokes. His absence is physical, but his presence will forever live in our hearts.

Quandrell was born on March 10, 1984, to Robert Williams, Jr. and Leona Hunt. At an early age, Quandrell committed his life to Christ and was baptized at Sandy Mount Baptist Church where he was a member of the Youth Choir and active in the Youth Ministry. He was educated in the Isle of Wight County Public Schools System and, while in school, he played basketball and football.

Quandrell loved sports and was a huge fan of the Washington Commanders and a coach for the little league football team, 7Youth Saints. If he was not watching football or coaching it, then you could find Quandrell doing another one of his favorite hobbies which included traveling, recording music, jet skiing, being on Facebook live or popping wheelies while riding his motorcycle. He was a member of the Triple Motorcycle Club (Triple X MC) of Hampton, Virginia.

Quandrell was beloved as a father, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Preston Bynum.  He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Leona Murphy; his father, Robert Williams, Jr. and step-mother, Angela Williams; his children, Ja’Niyah Murphy, Quandrell Williams, Jr., Quanas Bailey, Quamarion Bailey, Ja’Quavius Robinson, Quadiir Wiliams, Cienna Jefferson, Quadre Williams, Jy’Nae Williams, and Qua-Siim Williams; his brothers, Robert Williams, Braxton Williams (Trina) and Ahkeem Briggs, Sr. (Raveen); his sisters, Tashekia Wooten (Michael), Brittainy Jones-Darden and Brianna Jones; his grandparents, Robert, Sr. and Lizzie Mae Williams and Mable Hunt; his god-sisters, Georgette Coltrane and Joydan Taylor; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; And lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he will direct thy paths.”  Proverbs 3:5-6
