Nathaniel E. "Emmitt" Wooden, Sr. 56, was born August 13,1964. He transitioned from this life Thursday, August 20, 2020. He was a a graduate of Smithfield High School Class of 1982. Nathaniel was preceded in death by his grandmother Daisy Young and uncle Herbert Young. Nathaniel leaves to cherish his memory his wife;Patricia Wooden;parents Mary Wooden Barnes and Emmitt Gholston; sons; Nathaniel Wooden Jr., and Nicholas Wooden;siblings; Robbie Scott (Cora), Charmaine Kea Bailey (Lorne), Diane Gholston, nephew; Lorne Bailey, Jr., nieces, Ciara Kea Bailey and Takena Atkins and a hosts of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. A Drive In Memorial Celebration will be held 12 pm Saturday, September 26, 2020 at Shivers Funeral Chapel. There will be Family Visitation held on Friday September 25, 2020 from 4-6 pm at Shivers Funeral Chapel. Only 10 people are permitted to be in the building at a time.
