Martha Lee Robinson On Sunday, September 15, our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, Martha L. Robinson (Ma) was called home to her eternal rest. She was a caring person known to all especially her family. Martha was born May 10, 1931 to the late Lillian Moore. Martha was a great role model to her children and grandchildren. She was a great sister/mother to her sister, Bernice Swarn. Martha was employed at Fast Brothers Fish House in Hampton, VA until she retired. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and attended until her health failed. Martha was preceded in death by her mother, Lillian Moore, her husband, John L. Robinson, Sr. a granddaughter, Keisha Robinson and two grandsons, Mario and Steve Robinson. Martha leaves behind a host of family members who will be left with loving memories that she has instilled in them; her children John Robinson, Jr., Martha Cypress (Prince), Carrie Bailey (Perry), Tinu Robinson (Claudia), all from Smithfield; David Robinson (Gail) Windsor, Barbara Robinson, Suffolk, Stacey and Tracy Robinson, Smithfield, VA. Grandchildren, William Robinson, Sr. (Kathleen), Melinda Bailey, Rage, Freda, and LyFarrah Robinson, Randell Robinson (Jennifer), Sierra, Sheri, Shanta, Angel, and Tan1my Robinson, David, and JaQuitta Cooper, Terrika, and Katrice Barrow, William, Jr., Regina Robinson, Shetara Pierce (Barry), and Samaiya Kelly; 46 great grandchildren., 7 great great grandchildren; one sister, Bernice Swarn and a host of nieces and nephews . Her kind, loving, and gentle smile, when she smiled, will be truly missed but never forgotten.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 12:00 PM Friday, September 20, 2019 at Emmanuel Baptist Church Smithfield, VA. Viewing will take place Thursday from 4-7 PM September 19, 2019 at Shivers Funeral Chapel. Professional services entrusted to Shivers Funeral Chapel.
