The Life of Martha R. Newby

A native of Isle of Wight County, she was born October 27, 1926 to the late Realus Smith and Ellen Edwards.
As a young child she went to church religiously and later in life joined Sandy Mount Baptist Church in Smithfield, VA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arsinia Newby; son, James W. Newby and grandson, Travis D. Newby.
Martha leaves to cherish her memory one daughter, Mary E. Beckett (Terry); three sons, Charles A. Newby (Gwen), Tony R. Newby (Janice) and Felix A. Newby; 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends. Your presence will be dearly missed. We love you!
