Martha J. Jordan

On Sunday, October 3, 2021, Martha Jordan entered the eternal home of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Martha was born March 31, 1927 to the late Rebecca Johnson and the late Herbert Robertson. Martha loved going to Tyler’s Beach. During her time of sickness Martha once said, “I’m tired of suffering.” Now she is free from all aches and pains. So don’t be saddened, she is in God’s hands now. She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters Gracie and Janice Jordan; two sons Samuel and Pernell Jordan; two sisters Mary Diggs and Ophelia Johnson and a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. A Graveside Celebration will be held 12pm Sunday, October 10, 2021 at Tynes Memorial Cemetery. Viewing will take place Saturday, October 9, 2021 from 2-4pm at Shivers Funeral Chapel.
