Lorne S. Faltz, 55, transitioned from this life on Thursday, January 06, 2022 at his residence in Hampton, Virginia. Lorne S. Faltz “Bae Bae” was born September 27, 1966, in Suffolk, VA, the eleventh of thirteen children. Lorne was preceded in death by his parents Joseph A. Faltz Sr and Betsy R. Hillard Faltz along with his father-in-law Zelna H. Parson Jr. Lorne was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, and friend. As a child he loved being mischievous and playing with his siblings. In his early adult years, he served in the US Marine Corps. As he got older, he became a jack of all trades. He was good at whatever he put his hands to. Entering the field of construction, it led him to the love of building bridges. Traveling all over the East Coast, his most recent project was the Lesner Bridge in Virginia Beach with McClean Construction. Aside from working and traveling he loved to spend his spare time fishing, dancing, joking around, and playing lottery. Most of all he loved spending time with his family. Lorne leaves behind to cherish his memories, wife Wanda Faltz; (2) daughters: LaVonda Faltz of Hampton, VA, Dametria Faltz of Charlotte, NC; (2) Goddaughters: Jeri Robinson (Chris) of Richmond, VA, Carleen Yates of Atlanta, GA; (9) grandchildren and (1) on the way; (7) brothers and (5) sisters: Elsie Jackson of Fayetteville, NC, Joseph Faltz Jr (RoJean) of Smithfield, VA, Mary Jones (William) of Waverly, VA, Ronnie Faltz (Jean) of Wakefield, VA, Bobba Faltz (Barbara) of Wakefield, VA, Betsy Warren (Otis) of Waverly, VA, Gilles Faltz (Susie) of Smithfield, VA, Aretha Taylor (Roger) of Suffolk, VA, Raeola Faltz of Prince George. Mother-In-Law: Mary E. Parson of Ivor, VA; (3) Sister-In-Laws: Pamela Jones (Robert) of Portsmouth, VA, Scherrell Langhorne (Pernell, Jr.) of Smithfield, VA, and Katrina Tate (Tyrell) of Colonial Beach, VA, extended Brother-in-law, Irving Cross of Carrollton, VA; A host of loving nieces, nephews, adopted children, family & friends. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 12:00pm Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Shivers Funeral Chapel BY INVITATION ONLY. Viewing will take place on Friday, January 14, 2022 at the Chapel.
