Lois Lawton Hamlin transitioned from this life and received her heavenly wings, Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Sentara Obici Memorial Hospital. She was the daughter of Luther H. and Bettie Williams Lawton. She is survived by her daughters Wandreria R. Hamlin and Toni Y. Hamlin. She is further survived by her sisters, 1 brother, many cousins, other family and friends. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11 am Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Little Bethel Baptist Church, 6533 Everets Rd, Suffolk, Va. Due to Covid 19 restrictions, attendance will be limited and strictly adhered to. The service will be livestreamed on Shivers Funeral Chapel Facebook Page. Public viewing will be held Monday, January 11, 2021 at Little Bethel Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to your favorite charity in memory of Lois L. Hamlin.
