Lois Parham Hamilton transitioned from this life on Sunday, January 30, 2022 in Brooklyn, NY. Lois L. Parham-Hamilton was born October 31, 1926. She was the fourth daughter of the late Reverend James Robert Parham and Sister Vergie Evans Parham. She received her education through the Isle of right County school system. After she took up residence in Baltimore, Maryland to attend nursing school, she joined Rehoboth Church of God in Christ Apostolic. Lois later moved to New York at the age of 25, and worked at Coney Island Hospital as a Certified Nurse's Assistant. Lois met and married the love of her life, Carlton Eugene Hamilton. Their union was blessed with one daughter. Lois later furthered her education and retired as a Medical Lab Technician. She joined Beulah Baptist Church where she sang on the senior choir, Mother of Zion, and was head of the pantry. Lois also was in Eastern Star O.E.S. When she transitioned, she went home to be with her Lord and Savior and she's joining her parents, siblings, other family members, and friends. In sweet memory she leaves her Daughter Thais Hamilton; two Grandsons, Bishimii Allah Sanchez, Basseim Zhayre Hamilton; two Godsons, Alfred Carr (GA), Felix Carr (MD); two Nieces, Sharon Revell, Christine Townsell (VA); two Nephews, Virgil Taylor, Jeffery Roane (MD); four generations of nieces and nephews; two adopted sons in Christ Kelly Roach and Luc Nikita; adopted grandson, Dwayne 4'Tee" Vermaine; spiritual family; O.E.S. family; and neighbor family; two trusted friends, Geraldine Peacock and Marie Cherry; one long time son Cassius Watson. A Graveside Celebration will be held 12pm Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Shiloh Baptist Church. Viewing will also take place on Saturday, February 12, 2022 from 9-11am at Shivers Funeral Chapel. Please keep the Parham-Hamilton family in your prayers.
