Kendra Ann Boothe

December 20, 1977 — January 29, 2023

My Life, My Life, My Life

Intro

“Look into my Life and See What I See” Kendra Ann Boothe came bursting into the world on December 20, 1977 just in time to bless her parents Cheryl L. Boothe and John J. Collins with the most precious Christmas gift. Kendra was love personified. Her mere presence filled whatever room she was in with life, love and laughter. She was the apple of her grandmother’s eye, the community’s adorable baby girl and her mom’s joy. Kendra was never shy unless you wanted her to spend the night away from her family. She met no strangers.

Verse

To know Kendra is to love her. Kendra was the darling of her siblings; Luray, Simone, Jeramine and Chris and the precious kid sister to Schanda Johnson and Christopher Collins. Vivian and Aneah would call her the favorite fun aunt when they are able to share stories with Shatese and Jabri. It’s no secret that her aunts and uncles Joan White(James), Dale Boothe, Larry Boothe (Cassandra), Terrance Boothe, LaRhonda “Hattie” Turner (Thomas) were enamored by her and Brenda Collins, Felecia Rowe and Eric Collins were equally smitten.

 Pre-Chorus:

Our Kendra was affectionately known as “Ken Ken, Kin-ra And in these Streets Boothe Bent and Bently”

Chorus

“Living my life like its Golden.” Kendra lived life without fear giving meaning to the phrase “LOVE, LIVE, LAUGH”. She was an avid swimmer although she could not swim. Kendra was a connoisseur of music to include Gospel, Trap and R&B. She liked her music LOUD!!!! Kendra was known for worshipping with Her bishop, Bishop G. E. Patterson immediately followed by rapping to the music of Moneybag Yo. The only thing Kendra is known more for is her gift of creating laughter, her signature glasses and her love for her family.

Bridge

“If you were to throw a party and invited everyone you knew, You would see the biggest gift would be from me and the card attached would say thank you for being a friend.”

Outro

Kendra was called home to be with the Lord on January 29, 2023. “Lord I thank you for all the days of my life”
