Jennifer L. Twine

September 29, 1981 — June 5, 2020

With a squint of perfection and a smile that lit up any room, Jennifer Lynn Twine, affectionately known as, "Jen-Jen," entered this world on September 29, 1981 to the late Linwood Cypress Sr., and Emily Mae Twine Wiggins.

The Lord saw fit to welcome her back home on June 5, 2020 at 7:33 a.m from Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, VA.

During her time on Earth, Jennifer was a faithful servant of the Lord. She began her walk at United Holiness Church in Smithfield, VA and later became an active disciple of Mission Church in Ivor, VA.

Jennifer was a graduate of the Surry County High School Class of 2000 where she was a member of FBLA, SCHS Gospel Chorus, and Class of 2000 Prom committee member. Jennifer attended Virginia State University in Petersburg, VA where she was a Business Management major. Her studies prepared her for a Management career with Cole Haan in Williamsburg, VA for 14 years. Jennifer enjoyed curating styles and creating happiness for others.

Living her life to the fullest, Jennifer was an optimistic, soft-spoken, and loyal young woman. Her gentle smile melted hearts and her infectious laugh soothed souls. She had the amazing gift of making every person she met instantly feel comfortable. Her style and charisma could charm anyone.

As a devoted Mother, she enjoyed spending time with the loves of her life (Jakayla and Jayden), her family, and her friends. Jennifer enjoyed reading books, writing, listening to music, and playing word search games.

Jennifer is survived by her mother, Emily Twine Wiggins and father, William "Bill" Wiggins. She leaves her legacy to her daughter, Jakayla Twine and son, Jayden Twine, her best friend and sister, Dion Edwards (Jerry), two half-sisters, Lavon Cypress and Felicia Cypress, five brothers, John Hunt(Vera), Linwood Cypress(Lisa), Pernell Batten(Deildra), Linwood Cypress, Jr ( Kita), and Lawrence Cypress (Lisa), two special nephews, Trabion Tynes, Jr. and Delance Rawlings-Twine, one aunt, Joann Harrell and two uncles, Robert Twine(Denise) and William Twine(Jeanette), a host of cousins, friends, and two devoted friends, Shanita Berry and Kristie King.

Jennifer's life would seem too short to many. But those who were blessed to know her understand that the quality of her existence far exceeds the quantity of the time she lived.
