Jacqueline Vondele Warren Joyner, better known as (Jack or Jackie) transitioned from this life on Friday, June 03, 2022 at her residence in Windsor, Va. She was born on June 30, 1932 to the late Jack and Evelyn Joyner Warren. She was proceeded in death by her husband Thadeous (T.J.) Joyner Jr., son Jackie Ronald Joyner Sr., daughter Joycelyn V. Austin (Michael), grandchildren, Diera M Bragg and Jerra J. Kirby. Jackie grew up in Southampton County, and attended Rosewald Elementary School from the First to Seventh grade. She then attended Hayden High School for 4 years. Determined to get her GED, she went back to school and her passed all her classes, then received her GED in 1986. In 1988 she received her diploma, pictures with cap and gown, of course she thanked God! Jackie worked for the Isle of Wight County school system as a bus driver for 21 years (1974-1995) as well as a Cafeteria worker for 32 years (1968-2001) At an early age she joined the Gilfield Baptist Church and accepted Christ as her savor. After marriage she joined Shiloh Baptist Church as a watch care member. She was welcomed with open arms. She was the secretary of the Sunday School for many years. She was also the president of the Hospitality Committee and a dedicated member of the Christian Support Ministry. She was a member of the Missionary, Intercessory Pray group, and the Senior Choir for many years. Jacqueline, (Jack or Jackie) was one of the sweetest loving and caring person that God has ever created. Everybody that knew her, loved her. She was well known for her homemade rolls, cakes and that famous potato salad. She loved to play games on that phone and she would look at Facebook to see what was going on. Yes, she had her own Facebook page and cash app (smile).She had a sharp memory and could remember everybody’s birthday, Not only that, but she wrote in her journal every night about everything that she did though out that day. I mean, in detail. But most of all, she Loved the Lord and was ready to go to her heavenly home. She would say, whenever the Lord calls me, I’m ready. She will truly be missed. She leaves to cherish her memories: sons Thadeous E Joyner (Patrica), Richmond VA., Elder Jerry V. Joyner (Anita) Zuni VA., daughter Stormetta J. Redman (Daren) Va. Beah, VA, Stepdaughters, Denise Teal (Jeri) Suffolk VA. Joy Sorbello (Giovanni), Chesapeake VA. She was blessed to have 18 Grandchildren, 13, Great grandchildren, and 1 Great-Great granddaughter. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, close friends and family members. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 1:00pm on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at Shiloh Baptist Church, Windsor, Va.
