The Life of Helen P Holloman

Helen P. Holloman transitioned peacefully into eternal rest on January 13, 2018, at Autumn Care of Suffolk, Suffolk, VA. She was born February 24, 1928, and was parented by the late Elaine Allen of Suffolk, VA., and was preceded in death by her husband, Len Edward Holloman, Jr. Helen was a loving wife, mother and a faithful member of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church. She was a very active member of the Usher's Ministry, Hospitality Ministry, Missionary Ministry and a Former Willing Worker. She was soft spoken, and well known for her giving heart and loving spirit. Helen is survived by her son, Len E. Holloman, III (Evelyn) Carrollton, VA. One brother-in-law, Earl P. Holloman (Josephine) Smithfield, VA and one Sister-in-law, Florine Artis of Carrollton, VA. Five grandsons, Dennis C. Scott (Rhonda) Ivor, VA, Nathaniel Robinson (Gia), Smithfield, VA, Larry Robinson (Marisa) Murfreesboro, NC, Kenneth Robinson (Cassandra) Indian Trails, NC and Jeffrey Robinson (Tawana) Smithfield, VA, and 17 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. A Celebration Of Life Service will be held 12pm Friday, January 19, 2018 at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, Ivor, Va. Viewing will be held Thursday, January 18, 2018 from 4-7 pm at the chapel. Interment will be in the Mt. Sinai Baptist Church cemetery. Professional Services are entrusted to Shivers Funeral Chapel.
