Deacon George Smith, of Jersey City, New Jersey Jr. transitioned from this life Sunday June 23, 2019. Deacon Smith was the beloved husband of the late Edith R. Smith. Treasuring his memory are his children Rufus (Marilyn) Smith, Ronnie (Laverne) Smith and George T. (Stephanie) Smith, III,;His Brothers, Benjamin and William T. Smith. His 10 Grandchildren, host of Great-grands, Great-great grands and many other loving relatives and friends will always cherish his memory. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday June 29, 2019 at 11:00 am at Chapel Grove UCC 7366 W Blackwater Road, Windsor, VA 23487. Viewing at 10:00 AM with service immediately following.
