Frederick Boyce

Frederick Boyce 65, passed away from this life on Sunday, July 18, 2021at Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center . He was a native of Smithfield, VA born to the late Fred Giles and Ruth Clayton Jarrett. Frederick attended Smithfield High School. He was employed by Newport News Shipyard for many years. Later he was employed in Hospitality Management. Frederick leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Rhonda Flood of Newport News, VA, Stepdaughters Alma Flood of Churchland, VA. Charnel King and Danyell Thompson. Sisters; Drucilla Goodman, Cherry James, Bernadette Boone (Randy), Darnelle Jefferson, Brother, Rufus Boyce (Yvonne) 4 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, a host of step grandchildren, one Uncle Willie Giles, nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends. Frederick was fun loving and will be missed. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11am Monday, July 26, 2021 at Shivers Funeral Chapel BY INVITATION ONLY. Limited attendance will be strictly adhered to and required. Viewing will take place from 2-4 pm Sunday, July 25, 2021 at Shivers Funeral Chapel.
