He loved spending time with his family and friends (especially the grandkids), reading the Bible, listening to Gospel music, fishing, and helping anyone that he could. Floyd also enjoyed, working hard in the fields and feeding the animals in his younger days. He loved eating good food. Floyd, in his early years, was a member of his wife’s home church (Morning Star Baptist Church) where he served on the deacon board for many years. He later joined Christian Home Baptist Church. He loved the Lord.
He leaves to cherish his memories: Daughter; Evelyn C Blow (Ronnie), Brother George Ricks; Three Grand Daughters; Tonya Melton, Tina Blow, Brittany King (Tobias), Four Great Grandsons; Mark Fenner Jr (Marissa), Travion Bobb, Tobias King Jr, and Tyler King.
