Elijah Godwin

Elijah Godwin, 95 transitioned from this life on Wednesday, June 01, 2022 at Consulate Health Care of Windsor. Elijah was born July 3, 1926 and was reared by his father Ed Godwin. He maintained a living by being a self-employed farmer until he retired. Elijah was preceded in death by five sisters and one brother, Martha Cargill, Queen Godwin, Christine Godwin, Willie Mae Godwin, Mator Robinson and William Godwin. Elijah is survived by a host of nieces and nephews who loved him dearly and several cousins and friends. A Graveside Celebration of Life Service will be held 10am on Tuesday, June 07, 2022 at Christian Home Baptist church Cemetery. Viewing will take place from 3-6pm on Monday, June 06,2022 at the chapel. Please keep the Godwin family in your prayer.
