Elder John A. Johnson Jr.

Elder John Johnson, Jr., also known as Johnny was called home to rest on August 10, 2021. He was born to John Johnson, Sr. and Mary Faulks Johnson in Nansemond County, VA. He was joined in holy matrimony to Shirley Davis Johnson. They were blessed with 5 daughters, Tarsha Davis, Shenille Davis, Maisha Johnson, Sierra Johnson and Nicole Johnson and one son, John Johnson, III. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Robert Johnson and a sister Ernestine Cuba. He leaves behind to cherish his memories, his wife, his daughters, his son, two sisters Thomasine Pitts and Joyce Alexander (Darwin) and one brother Michael Faulks (Tina), 16 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A Graveside Service will be held 11:00am Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at Ebenezer Church Cemetery Windsor, Va. Viewing will take place on Monday, August 16, 2021 from 4-6pm at the Funeral Chapel.
