Elaine S. Newsome

On December 28, 2020 Elaine Sharp Newsome was called home to be with the Lord at Sentara Hampton Careplex Hospital. Elaine Newsome was born April 11, 1957 to the late Ernest Sharpe and the late Elizabeth Towns Sharpe. She loved Bingo, Babysitting and being around family and friends. Elaine is survived by her sisters; Stella Scott, Velma Lee Turner, Shirley Jones (Curtis) Sarah Hall, La Bonnie Newsome (Tracey) Rebecca Pettaway (Aaron) and Zena Gabriel, her brothers; James "Jimmy" Turner and Clinton Rogers "Bud" Sharpe. She leaves to cherish her memories a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. "Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, Love leaves a memory no one can steal." A Graveside Celebration of Life will be held 1pm Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Sweet Haven Holiness Church Cemetery, 22188 Brewers Neck Boulevard, Carrollton, VA 23314.
