February 15, 1934 — October 1, 2014

On the evening of October 1, 2014 our beloved Doris Elizabeth Seaborn was called home to be with her heavenly Father. During her spare time, Doris loved to play bingo and card games. She was deeply devoted to her family. Helping to raise and care for children and grandchildren is what she loved the most. Doris was a dedicated member of Solomon's Temple where she became known as the mother of the church. Doris was preceded in death by her husband Abraham Seaborn Sr., her daughter Ramona Seaborn, her sister Arnetta Baker and her brother Elmo Shivers. She leaves to cherish her memory two brothers Willie Shivers Jr., (Jean) and Milton Shivers; two sisters Doretha Wellons and Rosalee Roberson (Lawrence); one sister-in-law Anne Shivers; three children Jacqueline Seaborn, Abraham Seaborne Jr. (Angela) and Rydell Seaborn Sr.; seven grandchildren Omeka Seaborn, Monique Seaborn, Letitia Seaborn, Nina Lane, Danielle Seaborn and Michelle Seaborn; nine great grandchildren Jakayla Holloway, Khalil Spriggs, Myasia Seaborn, Kevin Spriggs Jr., Kameron Spriggs, Kendra Spriggs, Carlos Greene Jr., Janice Lane and E'Lijah Raboteau. She also leaves a host of close cousins, relatives, and friends. Viewing will be Sunday 2:00p.m. - 5:00p.m.. A Funeral service will be held 12 noon Monday, October 06, 2014 at Solomon's Temple Church - Smithfield. Arrangements entrusted to Shivers Funeral Chapel.
