The Life of Doris "Dolly" Marie Faulk

On Tuesday morning, November 8, 2022, God in his infinite wisdom saw that Doris "Dolly" Marie Faulk was growing tired and whispered to her my child come home with me. Your race is finished here on earth. Your work is done. Your battle has been fought. Your victory is won.

Doris E. Faulk transitioned from this life on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at Autumn Care of Suffolk. Dolly was born February 4, 1928 in Isle of Wight County to the late Zenus and Mary Elizabeth Eley. She attended Mitchell Elementary and Isle of Wight Training School. Dolly was a devoted member of Pulaski Baptist Church where she served faithfully on the Usher Board until her health declined. For more than forty-three years, she was married to the late Marcellar Faulk.

Doris was preceded in death by her husband and daughter Lois Eley. Her memory will forever be cherished by one daughter Linda Copeland, four sons John Douglas (Glenda), Richard Douglas, Melvin Douglas (Jackie) and Dennis Faulk. Also left to celebrate a life well-lived are her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11am Monday, November 14, 2022 at Pulaski Baptist Church 6431 Carrsville Highway Carrsville, VA 23315. Viewing will take place Sunday, November 13, 2022 from 2-5pm at Shivers Funeral Chapel. The family will receive visitors at the home of John A. Douglas 7263 Ecella Rd. Zuni, VA 23898 from 4-8pm Wednesday-Sunday. Please keep the Faulk family in your thoughts and prayers.
