Doretha Ann Johnson entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 11, 2015. She was born in Suffolk, VA on May 10, 1967, to Loretta Johnson and Adam Birt, Jr. Doretha attended Smithfield High School and graduated in June 1985. After graduation, she attended Norfolk State University where she majored in Business Management. For several years, Doretha was employed by Smithfield Packing Company in the Transportation/Logistics Department. She later formed her own company, Kelly Farms, based in Smithfield, VA. Doretha leaves to cherish her memory, a loving mother, Ms. Loretta Johnson, father, Adam Birt, Jr., sister, Aretha Johnson, brothers, Steven Johnson (Larnette), of Smithfield, VA, and Andrey Johnson (Marie) of Suffolk, VA, grandmother, Ophelia Johnson of Smithfield, VA, two uncles, Arnold Johnson and Reginald Johnson of Smithfield, VA, two godchildren, Shana James and Takeirra Tatum, and a host of aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
