Donald Ray Butler transitioned from this life on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Atlanta Wellstar Medical Center. Donald or "Mook," as he was affectionately called, was born January 6, 1955 to the late Herbert Sr. and Thelma Butler. Donald was born and raised in Isle of Wight County, VA. He was blessed to travel all over the country. He drove commercially for several years before retiring. He was a God-fearing, kind, loving, thoughtful, and caring man. He found joy in laughter. He enjoyed peace with the Lord in his travels. He was the life of the party wherever he went. Donald was preceded in death by his mother, Thelma Butler, father, Herbert Butler Sr., brother, Herbert Butler Jr.; and sisters: Thelma Wells and Rosa Jones. He leaves behind to cherish his memories: his wife, Ursula Butler; two sons, Shelton Williams (Andrea), and Eric Skeeter; three daughters: LeVonne Nelson, LeVette Deleveaux (Xavier), and Auriel Butler; three sisters: Delorise Jones (Ralph), Brenda Ellsworth (Herbert), and Wanda Butler; four brothers: Marvin Butler (Judy), Gerald Butler, Cecil Butler ( Elonka), and James Butler (Deborah); seven grandchildren: Avery, Alex, Aniyah, Layanie, Isaiah, Timothy, and Chad Jr. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and other relatives.
