Newport News Devin Shaquille Smith, 20, born on June 17,1994, passed away August 12, 2014. Devin was a 2012 Denbigh High School Graduate.Devin Loved fishing, playing basketball and spending time with his family and friend.Devin was also a disciple of Solomon's Temple. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Henry Smith and Pauline Jones. He is survived by his mother Jowanda Smith-Hawkins (Stanley), father Jerome Jones;3 brothers, Tashawn, Darrin and Eric Smith; 2 sisters Alexis Smith and Chantel Jones; his maternal grandmother Marion Smith; paternal grandfather Phillips Davis;and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and friends. A Funeral Service will be held noon Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2014 at Shivers Funeral Chapel.Viewing will be on Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2014 from 4-7pmat the chapel.Interment will be in the Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements by Shivers Funeral Chapel.

A Funeral Service will be held noon Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2014 at Shivers Funeral Chapel. Viewing will be on Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2014 from 4-7pm at the chapel. Interment will be in the Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
