Curtis L. Jones, III

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the transition of Elder Curtis L. Jones, III on Wednesday, February 17, 2021. Curtis L. Jones, III was born January 9, 1976 in Suffolk, VA to Curtis L. Jones, Jr and Shirley Jones. He is preceded in death by his grandparents; Curtis L. Jones, Sr and Elnora Jones; Thomas H. Turner and Elizabeth Sharpe. Curtis accepted the call of ministry and was ordained to Elder. Curtis was proud to carry on this call on his life where he ministered to numerous people. He loved teaching the word of god. He was truly loved and respected by many. Curtis was a gifted musician and loved to play the organ/keyboard. He was a faithful servant. Curtis played for multiple events for Church of God and Christ Holiness USA, Emmanuel Chapel Church, Sweet Haven, Center of Hope and Restoration Church and The Mount Peninsula. Curtis made an impact on the community by giving back his time by visiting nursing homes, and feeding families with Kingdom Workers Global Network. Curtis made an impact on so many people and was loved by many. He leaves to cherish his beautiful and loving wife Loretta Eure Jones; his parents Curtis and Shirley Jones, Jr of Chesapeake, VA; his two brothers, Al Turner (Toccara), and Shawn Jones (Danielle) of Pennsylvania; his aunts, uncles and a host of cousins.
