Curtis H. Hill

Curtis Hamilton Hill entered into his eternal rest on Tuesday morning, March 10, 2020 at 6:40 am. Curtis was born March 6, 1940 in Isle of Wight County. Curtis was the son of the late Robert and Fannie Hill. Curtis received his education in the Isle of Wight School system. He also attended Norfolk State College. He accepted Christ at an early age and joined Shiloh Baptist Church. Curtis was a bail bondsman in the Tidewater area. He was employed at International Paper Mill, Franklin, VA where he retired. Curtis loved his family dearly. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 58 years Lille Edwards Hill, two daughters Veronica Hill (Marshall) and Angela Waters (Thomas); one grandson Curtis Waters Jr.; four godchildren Lavelle Joyner, Clinton Edwards, Jason Lewis and Michelle Edwards; two sisters Odell Pierce and Augusta Williams; three brothers William Hill, Thomas Hill (Ann) and Wallace Hill (Shirley); one aunt Vertie Mae Hill; one sister-in-law Selone Evans (Rev. Julius Evans); one brother-in-law Leon Parker; devoted cousins Elliott Hill (Linda), Barbara Winslow, Tyrone Hill, and Clarence Booker and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11amSaturday March 14, 2020 at Shiloh Baptist Church Windsor, VA. Viewing will take place Friday March 13, 2020 from 4-7pm at Shivers Funeral Chapel. Mr. Hill is in the loving and professional care of Shivers Funeral Chapel.
