The Life of Craig Christopher Edwards  

Craig Christopher Edwards transitioned from this life on Thursday, February 8, 2024. He was born November 11, 1968 to Bertha M. Edwards and the late Joshua Joseph Bailey, Sr. 

He was educated in the Isle of Wight County Public School System. He enjoyed playing video games and enjoyed football. His favorite team was the Pittsburgh Steelers.

He was preceded in death by his father Joshua Joseph Bailey, Sr., two sisters Stephanie Hill and Iola Copeland, and two nephews Angelo Copeland and Andre Hunt (aka Duke). 

Craig was beloved as a father, son, grandson, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend. 

He leaves to cherish his memory his mother Bertha M. Edwards; his children Tyrek Lamont Hubbard, Aset Tantr Edwards, Craig Christopher Edwards, Jr., Josiah Xavier Edwards, Nestor Vincent Edwards; granddaughter Marli Chanel Williams; siblings James Hunt, Calvin Hunt, Francine Hunt, Floyd Edwards, Michael Edwards, Nicole James (Lee), Bobbie Bailey (April), Janice Askew (Troy), Shannon Drew (Trenton), Joshua Joseph Bailey, Jr. (aka Joey) and a host of aunts, one uncle, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends and one special friend Tina Robinson Wells.

At 11am on Saturday, February 17, 2024, a Celebration of Life will be held at Shivers Funeral Chapel. Viewing will be held from 9-11am on the date of the funeral. Please keep the Edwards family in your thoughts and prayers.
