Clarence F. Parker, Jr.

Clarence F. (Dolly) Parker, Jr. 68, of Smithfield, VA transitioned from this life on Wednesday, July 13, 2022. Clarence was born March 13, 1954 to Clarence Parker, Sr. and Dorothy Mae Everett. He attended Isle of Wight County Public Schools and was employed by Gwaltney Meat Packing Plant until he became disabled. Clarence loved to sing, tell jokes, and hang out with friends. He was a diehard New York Giants fan. Clarence is survived by two daughters Gloria Boone (Joe) of Suffolk, VA and Katrina Harris (Duke) of Surry, VA; brother, Ray Parker Jr., five grandchildren. one great-grand child and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended relatives and friends. A Graveside Celebration of Life will be held 11am Monday, July 18, 2022 at Tynes Memorial Cemetery. Viewing will take place Sunday, July 17, 2022 at Shivers Funeral Chapel from 2-5pm.
