Christine Little

Christine Little, 62 a native of Suffolk, VA transitioned from this life on Thursday, October 8, 2020 at Sentara Obici Hospital. She was born on January 4, 1958 to the late Junious Little, Sr. and Essie Mae Hill. She was employed at Suffolk Public schools for a short time. Christine was a beautiful, kind and loving woman. She loved everyone and had many hobbies but, one thing she truly enjoyed doing was playing cards and listening to her music. Christine was also a disciple of Solomon's Temple Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers Jessie and Percy Little. Christine leaves to cherish her memory one daughter June Little; one son Brad Little (Samantha); one sister Anne Little; two brothers Peter Little (Joan) and Junious Little Jr.; five grandchildren Jacova Warren, Shania Little, Derica White, Mirah Little and Davaren White; one great-grandson Andrew Pretlow; three nieces Catina Lyttle, Michele and Stephanie; a special friend James Thomas; two special foster daughter Tuwana and Erica and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. A Graveside Celebration will be held 12pm Thursday, October 15, 2020 at Mount Ray Cemetery Surry, Va. Viewing will take place Wednesday, October 14, 2020 from 4-6pm at Shivers Funeral Chapel.
