Mr. Charlie B. Edwards Jr. (known as Pig) departed this life Tuesday, December 19, 2023 in Harrisonburg, Virginia. He was the eldest of five children born to Charlie B. Sr. and the late Elizabeth Edwards. He completed Job-Corps with certification in

Refrigeration and Electrician. He worked at the Smithfield Packing Plant, Newport News Shipbuilding, and Perdue. He was a member of The Golden Keys Quartet of Smithfield. He really loved to sing. He was a loving, kind, good hearted person. He loved his family, especially his daughter Ramona as he called her Noonie.

He was preceded in death by his mother Elizabeth S. Edwards and his brother Perry Edwards. He leaves to cherish his memory; his daughter Ramona Willis; his father Charlie B. Edwards, Sr. of Smithfield Virginia, one sister Wendy Edwards; two brothers Randy and Steve Edwards; two grandsons William Mullins and Armoni McIntyre; one great granddaughter Armiah Mullins. He also leaves to cherish his memory, Suzzane Marshall and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

On Tuesday, December 26, 2023 a viewing will take place from 3-6pm at Shivers Funeral Chapel. On Wednesday, December 27, 2023 a Celebration of Life Service will be held 12pm also at the Chapel. Please keep the Edwards family in your thoughts and prayers.
