Carlias Warren

Carlias G. “Big Warren” Warren Carlias “aka” Big Warren, 60, a native of Isle of Wight County, transitioned from labor to his heavenly reward on February 24, 2023.

He was a resident of Newport News, VA for several years. He was a graduate of Smithfield High School where he played football and was known as “The Toe.” He was a hard worker and has worked in several jobs including Smithfield Packing and Newport News Shipyard. He was a humble and loving son, brother, grandfather, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend. He was a great cook and protector of his loved ones and family.

He was predeceased by his father George Lee Warren and two brothers Marcus Warren and Earl Addison.

He leaves to cherish his memory his soulmate and fiancé Delores L. White, Newport News, VA; his loving mother Martha Warren; four grandchildren Erster “DJ” Hatch, Jr., Promyse L. Hatch, Keyshawn H. Hatch, and Justin M. Williams; five sisters Carol, Sheila, and Suzette Warren, Zelma Green and Tasha Moore; two brothers George and Rodney Warren; two aunts Edna Hamilton (Henry) and Lilly Day; five uncles Marvin Warren (Sarah) Newport News, VA, Sherman Addison (Permelia) Maryland, Archie Addison (Demetrius) Baltimore, MD, Leroy Addison (Shenelle) Norfolk, VA and Earl Moten, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11am Saturday, March 04, 2023 at Main Street Baptist Church, 517 Main Street Smithfield, Va. Viewing will take place from 3-6 pm on Friday, March 03, 2023 at the Chapel.
