Brandon J. Johnson

Brandon Jamaar Johnson entered eternal rest and peace Tuesday, July 21, 2020. He was born June 21, 1993 in Smithfield,Va to Carla and Alfred Johnson. He attended Isle of Wight County Schools. He joined First Gravel Hill Baptist Church at an early age and served on the Usher Board. He resided in Houston, Texas and was employed by the Pepsi Company. His life was centered around family and friends. He loved and enjoyed his family. He will truly be missed. Brandon was preceded in death by his Uncle, Delvin Williams. He leaves to cherish precious memories, two children;Aaliyah Johnson and Gabriel Rymer of Smithfield, VA; Parents, Carla and Alfred D. Johnson of Smithfield, VA; siblings, Nicole Johnson of Boston, MA, Karra and Kelby Johnson of Smithfield, VA; Grandparents Linda and Melvin Williams of Smithfield, VA and Maude and Alfred B Johnson of Smithfield, VA; Aunts, Alfreda Muldrow, Tracy Malloy and Kayla Bailey and a host of great uncles, great aunts, cousins, other relatives and friends. A Graveside Celebration will be held 12pm Thursday July 30, 2020 at Emmanuel Baptist Church. Viewing will take place Wednesday July 29, 2020 from 4-6pm at Shivers Funeral Chapel. Mr. Johnson is in the loving and professional care of Shivers Funeral Chapel. Please keep the Johnson family in your prayers.
