Arthur L. Williams

On Monday, November 20, 2023, God in his divine wisdom called one of his servants, Arthur Lee Williams, to his eternal rest. Mr. Williams was seventy-three years old. 

Arthur was born on July 21, 1950, to the late James and Annie Williams of Windsor, Virginia. 

He professed Christ as his Savior at a young age and became a member of Rose of Sharon United Holiness Church. 

Arthur was preceded in death by his wife Geraldine Williams. 

He leaves behind to cherish his memory two children Christine Williams-Porter (Jaffery) and Corey Williams; five grandchildren Angel Parker, Rai’shod Williams, Isaiah Porter, Amerrika Porter, Emanuel Burrus; Gloria Brown and William Brown, Jr. (Barbara) his in-laws; siblings, six god-children, nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 12:00pm on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at Shivers Funeral Chapel.  The interment will be held in Carver Cemetery, Suffolk, VA. Viewing will take place on Friday November 24, 2023 from 3-6pm at the chapel.  Please keep the Williams family in your prayers.
