God extended his open arms and welcomed home are our dear mother, Deaconess Annie Jane Boothe on Monday, September 28, 2020 at Sentara Obici Hospital. Annie Jane was born in Nansemond County, on July 28, 1924 to the union of the late John Wesley and Annie Davis Wilson. She was one of 17 children born to this union. At an early age, Annie gave her life to Christ and became a member of Little Bethel Baptist Church where she was a faithful and devoted member, holding many capacities until she was called home to be with the Lord. Annie Jane was preceded in death by her loving husband, Randolph L. Boothe of 52 years and 1 great-great grandchild and 15 siblings. Those left to cherish the many memories of Annie Jane are her two daughters Joan(James) of Washington, D.C. and Cheryl of Suffolk, Virginia; three sons Larry(Cassandra) of Temple Terrace, Florida; Dale of Washington, D.C. and Terrance of Suffolk, VA; 13 grandchildren, 1 grand-dog, seven great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren. And countless nieces, nephews and extended church family and friends. A viewing of Annie Jane will be held on Tuesday October 6, 2020 from 4pm - 6pm at Shivers Funeral Chapel, Smithfield, VA. A homegoing service will take place Wednesday October 7, 2020 at 12pm, at Little Bethel Baptist Church, Suffolk, VA. Annie will be laid to rest in Oakland Cemetery, Suffolk, VA. Expressions of sympathy may be extended at shiversfuneralchapel Please keep the Boothe and Wilson family in your thoughts and prayers.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 12pm Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at Little Bethel Baptist Church. Viewing will take place Tuesday, October 6, 2020 from 4-6pm at Shivers Funeral Chapel. Mrs. Boothe is in the loving and professional care of Shivers Funeral Chapel. Please keep the Boothe and Wilson family in your thoughts and prayers.
