Angel Scott

On March 19, 2020 our beloved Angel Baker Scott transitioned from this life at her residence. Angel 52 was born o March 24, 1967 to the late Lucille Baker and Mexlon Cofield Baker. Along with her parents she was also preceded in death by her daughter Brittany Baker. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt daughter, cousin and niece. She enjoyed her new life she was building in Isle of Wight County with her grandson Antonio Jr. She loved music, decorating and styling hair. Angel leaves to cherish her precious memory her daughter Nita Gruner (Justin)son Antonio Baker Sr; four brothers Cofield Baker (LaWanda), Joyle Baker (Melanie), Michael and James Baker (Tracy); five sisters Mary Holland (James) Clance (Clarence), Linda Baker (Michael) Barbara Munford (Randy), Anna Diggs( James); her grandchildren Kacy Crawford, Antonio Baker, Jr., Brittany Baker and Allison Grunner and a host of nieces, nephews cousins and friends. She is forever in our hearts. A Graveside service held 12pm Wednesday March 25, 2020 at Tynes Memorial Cemetery Smithfield, VA. Viewing will take place Tuesday March 24, 2020 from 4-7pm at Shivers Funeral Chapel. Angel is in the loving and professional care of Shivers Funeral Chapel.
