Mr. Andrew L. Cypress, 76, of Smithfield, Va. entered eternal rest on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his mother; Louis Joyner and brother; Linwood Cypress. He is survived by 2 daughters; Veronica Davis of Hampton, Va. and Angela (Earl) Saunders of Newport News, Va and 1 son; Andrew Lee Davis of Hampton, Va. Step-daughter; Tanya Williams of Newport News, Va. 3 brothers; Otis Cypress and Frances Cutler of Smithfield, Va. and Georgia Joyner of Newport News, Va. 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life service will be held 1pm on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at Shivers Funeral Chapel Smithfield, VA. Viewing will be held 2 hours prior to the funeral service beginning at 11am Saturday, July 16, 2016. Professional services entrusted to Shivers Funeral Chapel.
