Aline E. Blacknall

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith; henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge shall give me at last day and not to me only but unto all them that love his appearing.

On Friday August 4, 2023 God in his Omnipotent power called our beloved mother Aline E. Blacknall from labor to rest. She was born on May 27, 1947 to the late Robert Johnson, Sr. and Serepta Taylor Johnson.

Aline Blacknall graduated from Virginia State School for the Deaf and Blind and Electronic Institute of Technology. She was a certified Nurses Assistant and worked as a Caregiver and Musician. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus, until her health began to decline. Aline loved Jesus, fishing and playing the organ.

Aline was married to John T. Blacknall from 1988 to 2018, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Marylee Osborne and Claristine Lunsford and three brothers; Edward Lee Tilton, Robert Lee Johnson, Jr., and Larry Johnson

Aline leaves to cherish her memories, her son, Sidney Johnson and daughter Sherall Johnson, two grandchildren, Tiffany Montague (Shamari) and Randy Bandy of Hampton, VA; one sister Doris Johnson and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Her smiling face and witty sense of humor will be missed by whoever she came in contact with especially the residents of the Woodlands.

A Celebration of Life will be held 12pm Saturday, August 12, 2023 at Church of Jesus Hampton, VA. Viewing will take place two hours prior to the service on Saturday from 10am-12pm. Please keep the Johnson-Blacknall families in your thoughts and prayers.
