On New Year's Day, the call came to Grandma Butler at about 8:30 pm saying that our granddaughter, Alexandra Lomax of New York City, had passed. She had been a resident of the state for about eight years.
Alexandra Lomax was born on August 2, 1987 to Anthony (Tony) and Alice B. Lomax of Marietta, GA. Alexandra received her education of the Holy Spirit at the age of 6 years old. She knew Christ as her personal Savior. After graduating high school, she decided to further her education and walk of life by joining the military to serve her country. She was in the Marines for four years. She loved coming to Virginia to be with her grandparents and other cousins of the family. This Christ-like personality enjoyed helping children lead a productive life in Christ. She was a strong productive person trying hard to always help someone.
