Life Reflections Adrienne Carr

Our beloved Adrienne Carr departed this life on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Riverside Regional Medical in Newport News, Virginia. Adrienne was born on November 16, 1958 in New York to the late Joseph Carr (father) and Georgia Winfrey Carr (mother) . Adrienne was preceded in death by her brother Jabo Carr.

Adrienne was a graduate of Cass Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center in Arkansas where she received her GED. Adrienne was employed at the New York State Thruway New York City Transit Authority and at Smithfield Packing for twenty-one years. She was currently employed at KBS cleaning service until the time of her death. Adrienne loved going out to eat seafood and listen to good music.  She will always be remembered as a charitable, charitable and selfless individual.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 1pm Friday, April 7, 2023 at Shivers Funeral Chapel. Viewing will take place Thursday, April 6, 2023 from 3-6pm also at the Chapel. Please keep the Carr family in your thoughts and prayers.
