The Necrology Tell my children that I was ready Angels stood around my bed They were there to bring me comfort And relayed each prayer I said They gave me courage and contentment Soothed my weary ladened brow Kept my faith strong and undaunted As I rendered each Christian vow Cheryl Nichols was born September 27, 1956 to the late James Hill and the late Susie A. Nichols. Cheryl attended Southampton County Schools. Cheryl gave her life to Christ at an early age. Cheryl was a faithful and loyal member of Shiloh Baptist Church. She served in different positions. She worked at Food Lion, Dairy Queen, Pino's Pizza and Isle of Wight County Schools. When her health began to fail, she retired to Consulate Health Care of Windsor, Virginia. Cheryl was a quiet, loving, giving, caring, and hardworking person who loved her family. Cheryl leaves to cherish her memory one son, Detrick Nichols (Kim) Chesterfield, Virginia; one daughter, D'Anna Nichols, Windsor,Virginia; two sisters, Valerie Coffield (Walter) Windsor, Virginia, Barbara Ann Eley (James) Zuni, Virginia; three brothers, RaymondNichols (Pam) Newport News, Virginia, Gregory Nichols (Janice) Murfreesboro, North Carolina; Milton Nichols (Tee) Wakefield,Virginia; seven nephews, the late Reginald Nichols; Justin Nichols, Chesapeake, Virginia; Shawn Nichols, Chesapeake, Virginia; KelvinJackson, Jr., Windsor, Virginia; Sherrod Nichols, Atlanta, Georgia;Amard Nichols (Nicole), Durham, North Carolina; Michael Eley, Zuni, Virginia; three nieces, Rosheena Nichols (Vinton), Suffolk, Virginia; Denita Boykins (Travis), Petersburg, Virginia; Tenita Boykins, Newport News, Virginia; three great nephews, Traveon Harris, Petersburg,Virginia; Demarie Harris, Petersburg, Virginia, Tyceon Boykins (BillyBoy), Newport News, Virginia; two great nieces, Jordynn Kelly, Suffolk,Virginia, Taniza Boyins (Tee-Tee) Newport News, Virginia; two aunts, Louise Cargill (Jimmy), Smithfield, Virginia and Lula Mae Nichols, Sedley, Virginia and a host of cousins and friends. .

Burial Date February 24, 2020

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 12pm Monday February 24, 2020 at Shiloh Baptist Church 900 Fire Tower Rd, Windsor, VA 23487. Viewing will be held 2-5pm Sunday at Shivers Funeral Chapel. Please keep the family in prayer. Ms Nichols is in the loving and professional care of Shivers Funeral Chapel.
